Netflix on Wii -- This is gonna be exciting!!!
Get ready for the Top of the Hour News: It's already confirmed that Netflix is coming to Wii! If you have a Wii, you will soon be able to watch television shows and movies through your console. So I assume that you're eyes got wide in excitement and your mouth became a perfect "O". If you're happy with this then why don't you spread the good news?
To know how this works, the Wii makes use of a special disc in its tray to watch the video from Netflix (similar to how the PS3 works). These instant streaming discs is now being sent by Netflix to selected subscribers. Just some subscribers because it has not been fully launched and just a small group will be able to test the service. If you want to register, go ahead and you will receive a Wii streaming disc. You will also be notified via email once the discs are in the mail.

I just got a crazy idea - since the Twilight franchise has become a cash cow with all its best selling books, movies, mobile phones and even underwear, have you ever wondered why it has not touched the world of video games? Nick Gibson, a Games Analyst once spoke about the possibility of having a Twilight game and believed that it could produce millions that even non-gamers could explore. Funny thing is this video game would be a huge hit to the ladies especially when it is on the Wii and DS.
BrainJunk Studios already acquired the license for Twilight based games so that might be something that we can look forward to in the near future.

Another thing to consider is that Nintendo Wii has its own titles such as Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime. These are the games that they assume would be a big hit towards the end of the year. Of course this is another huge boost for the Wii and a way to build the momentum at this time of year. For those who can't wait 'til Christmas, why don't you get a dose of Wii games now? There are many games to choose from and if you are a passionate gamer, I bet you will enjoy every minute of spending time with the Wii console.
So expect for the best this year! More and more people are finally discovering the potential and the unique nature of Wii (and that includes me of course) so why don't you? http://ping.fm/GgpKD

How Grandma got hooked on Wii
I have been thinking about this lately, what are the old folks been doing in their free time? Are they just watching television, reading books and newspapers, listening to the radio or knitting? Are they only limited to these activities because of their age?
If you let them know that there are other things that they can do aside from that, then maybe they would love to learn how to do it too. When people reach a certain age - let's say 60 or above, they tend to stop from engaging in physical activities because they often say that thee can no longer do them but this should not be the case. They still have to be active regardless of age. But what should they do? It's your task as grandchildren to introduce them other types of past times that can also enjoy.
A good solution is to teach them a few Nintendo Wii games. I know there are also some people who are afraid of technology and won't even try it but don't lose hope. You can always show them that it's easy to operate the Wii stick and they will be comfortable with it in the long run. There are certain games in Wii that will help them cope clinical depression if they have it or make them more physically active because they can use it to exercise.
Who said that Wii is only for kids? If could only demonstrate the use of Wii to all ages from all walks of life, I'm sure they will love it too!

That's right folks! Super Mario Galaxy is number one on my list. It has proven to be another hallmark and its popularity never changed since Mario 64. To those who aren't into Mario games, then Galaxy would probably make them change their minds! You have to try it, and I promise you, you will get hooked! http://ping.fm/yxho7

There is an alarming increase in the number of obese children today and while it is still on the rise, kids still remain to be unaware or don't care about how to get fit. The solution to this is exercise! The only problem today is that because of video games, do you still think your kids would go outside and play? http://ping.fm/EaSGp

My Top 5 Wii Games! What's yours?
That's right folks! Super Mario Galaxy is number one on my list. It has proven to be another hallmark and its popularity never changed since Mario 64. To those who aren't into Mario games, then Galaxy would probably make them change their minds! You have to try it, and I promise you, you will get hooked!
One of the more critically-acclaimed Nintendo games is Metroid Prime. You will surely love the blend of adventure and elements on this first person shooting game. The Wii style controls and wide screen support are considered to be your bonus.
I bet everybody already know The Legend of Zelda so I don't have to explain what this is all about. This is one of the best loved games in Wii! It mixes action and adventure elements and all of its challenging puzzle solving dungeon games. The game also has memorable characters that will make you addicted to the game even more.
Do you want to experience a heart pounding adventure? Well, with Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, you don't have to leave the house. Get all your gears ready and be prepared to catch some zombies too. You will have 100% with this number one third person shooter of the last gen!
The 2D graphics and the selection of lovable characters Capcom will make it difficult for you to quit playing this game! You will also get to experience multiple universes that will make the game play more fun and interesting. You will also enjoy the online play.

Kids Play Nintendo Wii during their P.E.
There is an alarming increase in the number of obese children today and while it is still on the rise, kids still remain to be unaware or don't care about how to get fit. The solution to this is exercise! The only problem today is that because of video games, do you still think your kids would go outside and play?
A local school in Nixia, MO became very concerned about it that's why they thought of something to rev their interest in exercise. They try different activities that they can relate to and this helps get things going.
If the kids don't like the traditional sports such as voleyball, basketball, dodge ball and others, they can try other activities and this may even help them find their niche. Physical Education has reached a whole new level when students are being allowed to use a video game console such as Nintendo Wii which gives more fun and entertainment.
Kids will still break a sweat and they will be more interested to go to Physical Education classes unlike before since this is a different variety and something that they are also familiar with. It's something good that everyone can enjoy.
